Introduction
The Friends of Ripon Cathedral School is a group of parents who get together to think of ways to raise money for extra equipment and resources and have some fun along the way.
We meet up once every half term (often in a pub!) to chat about ideas for events, activities and also what we would like to spend the money on. In the past we have funded fantastic projects, including the reading raffle, musical instruments, new play areas, audio and sports equipment, outdoor play apparatus and the Daily Mile all weather track.
Although the past year has had to be a little different, with more Zoom meetings and no get togethers in the pub, we have still been fundraising with many virtual events. We hope to get back to normal soon!
If you think that you could help in any way, whether it’s attending meetings, coming up with new fundraising ideas or volunteering to help at events, we would love to hear from you. We’re also looking for anyone with skills they can share with us. Are you good at book-keeping, great at designing posters, or do you have a talent for face-painting? Just ask your child's class teacher how to get in touch with us, and they will point you in the direction of a Friend.

If everyone gave up just 30 minutes of their time to help the Friends, just think what we could achieve!
